A true WNBA waterbug, Franklin is at 5-4 one of the shortest players in WNBA history. Drafted by Sacramento in the third round out of Texas A&M in 2008, Franklin not only made the roster but ended up serving as the backup point guard for the Monarchs. She saw action in all 34 games and ranked amongst league leaders in both assist-to-turnover ratio (2.28) and assists per 40 minutes (6.7) during her lone season in Sacramento. Franklin finished her college career fifth amongst the Big 12's all-time leaders in assists.
