Quiet in the Storm's opening win over Houston, Burse made her presence felt in the Storm's two games last week, recording a pair of double-doubles. Burse pulled down a career-high 19 rebounds against Phoenix, including a WNBA-record 16 in the first half. With her 11 boards Friday at San Antonio, Burse established herself as the league's leading rebounder. Burse also led the Storm in scoring with 19 points against the Silver Stars and tried a career-high 14 free throws in Friday's game. Burse also got to the line eight times against Phoenix.

Playing away from KeyArena for the first time in 2007, the Storm fell behind early to the San Antonio Silver Stars and never came all the way back, falling 82-71. Jackson and Lennox both suffered through dismal shooting nights, combining to hit five of their 23 shot attempts.
