“As we enter our 10th year of Storm basketball in Seattle, we are pleased to continue our relationship with KKNW 1150 AM,” said Seattle Storm Chief Executive Officer Karen Bryant. “Our partnership with Sandusky Radio allows us to provide our fans with live Storm basketball action throughout the season.”
Dick Fain and Adia Barnes will also be returning as the Storm’s broadcast team. Fain, a Seattle radio veteran who has also served as a Storm sideline reporter, play-by-play announcer and color analyst, will again handle the play-by-play duties. Barnes, a former Storm forward who played on the 2004 WNBA Championship team, will provide color analysis. Prior to doing Storm radio broadcasts, Barnes served as a television analyst for NBA Entertainment during the 2006 FIBA Women’s World Basketball Championship in Brazil.
“We are proud to be partnering with the Storm during its 10th Anniversary season, and look forward to being there as Seattle makes a run for another WNBA championship,” said Vice President and General Manager of Sandusky Radio Marc Kaye.
