A Message from Our Presenting Partner Waste Management

Waste Management - Think GreenWaste Management is the largest provider of recycling services in North America. We help residents, businesses and municipalities recycle everything from paper, plastic, aluminum and glass to fluorescent light bulbs, batteries, electronic equipment and sharps.

Waste Management is committed to the environment and the communities we live and work in. With several gas-to-energy plants in operation, we generate approximately 21.5 megawatts of electricity per hour, which is enough to power more than 22,000 California homes. In addition, we operate the state’s largest fleet of 100 percent natural gas-fueled collection trucks, and oversee 13 natural gas fueling stations.

As we face shrinking natural resources and search for new energy sources, Waste Management continues to develop new, cutting edge waste and environmental products and services to support sustainability efforts.

We are proud members of the Los Angeles Sparks Green Team.
